Data Reviewer - Casual

We’re a cybersecurity company based on the Gold Coast, helping small to mid-sized businesses stay safe from cyber threats and recover quickly if an incident occurs.
This role isn’t about technical cybersecurity - it’s about your ability to understand information, identify what matters, and help us classify documents correctly.
What You’ll Be Doing

Reviewing and interpreting documents to determine what they are (e.g., invoices, medical forms, ID documents, contracts, statements, applications, personnel files, etc.).

Identifying sensitive information, including PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and PHI (Personal Health Information).

Classifying and sorting documents based on case type and internal data structures.

Ensuring accuracy and consistency across large, diverse data sets.

Transcribing documents.

Using our custom-built systems to validate, categorise, and process information (training provided).
What We’re Looking For

Strong document literacy - you can quickly understand what a document is, who it relates to, and what type of information it contains

Familiarity with PII/PHI concepts or the willingness and ability to learn these quickly

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies or errors

Comfort working with a wide variety of document types (financial, medical, legal, business, personal, etc.)

Reliable, organised, and self‑motivated - you take pride in doing detailed work well

Able to follow structured processes while maintaining accuracy at volume
