Purpose of the role
To enable effective data governance, risk management, and compliance within the bank, acting as a liaison between business units and the Data & Records Management (DRM) function, translating business needs into actionable strategies and ensuring efficient implementation of DRM.

Essential Skills:
Data & Records governance, data controls, data lineage and associated methodologies.
Understanding of data products, cloud and data warehouses
Business Domain (Retail or Banking) and Regulatory reporting experience.
Working in a regulated environment and solid understanding of data and control risk management.
Development and maintenance of data lineage, data quality, dashboards and reports to track progress and communicate data quality performance.
Analysis and evaluation of data and trends and perform root cause analysis to clearly articulate the problem.
Development and implementation of thematic data quality strategies and policies aligned with the bank's overall data governance framework.
Triage, prioritization and determination of criticality of data points managing associated risks, issues and dependencies, driving management and facilitation of issue remediation and return to green plans.
Definition of requirements and specifications for proposed data remediation efforts to meet regulatory commitments, risk controls and business objectives.
Recommendation and implementation of data quality improvement technologies and tools, including use of machine learning.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in data analytics and insight generation to derive actionable insights from data.
The role is based out Pune office.
