Job Description

Work Schedule:
100% FTE, Days. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This is a hybrid position with possible weekly onsite requirements. When in-person you will work at 8501 Excelsior Drive in Madison, WI. This will be discussed in the interview process.

We are seeking a Data Quality Specialist to:

  • Communicate with other departments internally and with external organizations to update provider routing information.
  • Research missing provider and/or facility contact information and follow up accordingly.
  • Monitor electronic medical record for failed documentation and research accordingly for appropriate routing.

Education:

  • Minimum - General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
  • Preferred - High School Diploma.

Work Experience:
Preferred –

  • Six months of work experience in a records-oriented setting.
  • One-year experience in a clinical or Health Information Management Department of a large health care facility.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Preferred - RHIT or RHIA preferred.
