In this role, you'll:


Bring your expertise in data quality management to lead and uplift enterprise-wide data quality practices across Transport for NSW.


As part of the Data & AI Governance Centre of Excellence, you will define core data quality policies, standards and frameworks, while enabling divisions to implement scalable, fit-for-purpose data quality practices across critical data domains.


This role plays a key part in ensuring data is trusted, reliable and AI-ready, supporting advanced analytics, operational decision-making and emerging AI use cases across Transport.

About you


You have demonstrated experience leading enterprise data quality initiatives, ideally within complex or regulated environments. You bring strong practical experience implementing modern data quality practices, including data quality rules and monitoring within pipelines, Critical Data Element (CDE) frameworks, and automated data quality controls and observability.


You have a proven ability to translate data quality frameworks into practical business outcomes, working closely with both business and technical teams to embed data quality into delivery processes and ways of working.


You have experience supporting AI, advanced analytics, and data product initiatives, with a strong understanding of the importance of trusted, high-quality data. Hands-on experience with data quality and metadata management platforms such as Collibra, Ataccama, Informatica, or similar tools is highly desirable.


You understand key data quality considerations for AI and machine learning, including training data integrity, bias management, and model input assurance. You will also bring strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, particularly within federated operating models.
