The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for assessing, analysing, and improving the quality of data across the region. This role involves working closely with data SME’s, IT, and business teams to identify data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures. The Data Quality Analyst will also monitor data quality metrics and support the maintenance of data governance standards. In addition the role includes developing data quality controls within data transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Monitoring & Reporting:
Help maintain dashboards and reports that monitor data quality across the business.
Create ad-hoc reports and analyses using tools which may include Alteryx, Python, Qlik, and Power BI to meet business requirements.
Maintain or develop Qlik Sense/Power BI dashboards to support ongoing reporting needs.
Key Requirements:
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying and reporting.
Experience in designing or running data quality checks, validations, or testing routines.
Experience working with Databricks or similar data engineering platforms.
Experience working in an Agile environment to track data project processes.
Experience using Data Governance tools such as IDMC for data lineage, data profiling, and data governance activities.
Experience with Alteryx and knowledge of Python would be advantageous.
Insurance knowledge an advantage, though not essential.
