At PwC, our people in data protection support the responsible handling of personal and confidential data across the Firm. This includes supporting compliance with data protection requirements, managing risks, and helping ensure consistent and effective day‑to‑day practices.
As a Senior Associate, you will provide hands‑on operational support to the Data Protection team. You will assist with the execution of established processes, support monitoring and follow‑up activities, help maintain accurate records and reporting and assist in implementing efficiencies and automation, where appropriate. The role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, proactiveness, and the ability to manage sensitive information.

The Opportunity
As part of the Data Protection team, you will support the Firm’s ongoing data protection operations and governance activities. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in supporting established processes,assistingwith issue and request management, and contributing to reporting and quality activities.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of data protection work and the opportunity to develop practical experience in a critical risk and compliance area.
Responsibilities
Provideday‑to‑dayoperational support to the Data Protection team
Assistwith the handling andfollow‑upof data protection matters, including inquiries, issues, and incidents
Support monitoring and review activities to help ensureappropriate handlingof personal data
Maintain logs, trackers, and records related to data protection activities andfollow‑upactions
Support the handling of requests from individuals about their personal data, in line with established procedures
Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and supporttimelyresolution of issues
Prepare clear written summaries, reports, and communications for stakeholders
Maintain documentation and supporting evidence for internal reviews and quality processes
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data protection processes and ways of working
Handle sensitive and confidential information with care, professionalism, and discretion
Minimum years experience required
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 3–4 years of relevant experience in risk, compliance, privacy, or operational support roles
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
