Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking a Data Product Analyst for the ET&S data delivery team. The role sits at the intersection of governance, data quality, and product delivery. It translates governance standards into actionable insights that help data stewards and data owners improve and manage their data domains. It keeps the reporting on our data products clear, current, and trusted. It is an ideal first role for someone who is analytical, organized, and eager to learn how a modern data organization runs.

Working closely with internal customers, Data Engineers (DE), and Data Analysts (DA), this role helps prioritize and communicate data product work, develop data-quality scorecards, support governance reporting, and maintain visibility into team priorities and progress.Success in the role is measured by the clarity of the insights produced and the reliability of the reporting and coordination the individual provides.

This position is based in our Tulsa, OK or Wichita, KS offices. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

What You Will Do

  • Translate enterprise data governance standards and policies into clear, analyst-ready requirements.
  • Support governance metrics and the insight needs of data owners, helping them monitor and steward their data domains.
  • Pair with data engineers (DE) and data analysts (DA) to build and refine KPI reporting on the team's data products.
  • Maintain visibility into data product priorities, progress, and dependencies, ensuring stakeholders have clear insight into status, risks, and upcoming work.
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate, document, and prioritize new governance, reporting, and data quality opportunities.
  • Document data definitions, quality rules, and reporting logic so governance artifacts stay accurate and reusable.
  • Facilitate routine reviews of scorecards and KPIs, flagging trends, gaps, and data-quality issues for follow-up.
  • Partner with stakeholders to communicate changes to data definitions, quality rules, and governance standards, helping ensure successful implementation
  • Monitor data product usage and adoption metrics, identifying opportunities to improve value delivery and support retirement decisions when products no longer meet business needs.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience working with data in tools such as Excel or Power BI and foundational SQL skills.
  • Experience translating technical details into plain-language requirements and status updates.
  • Experience collaborating effectively across both technical and non-technical business teams.
  • Understanding principles, concepts, and terminology used in a data organization.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (data analytics, information systems, business, or statistics)
  • Exposure to data governance concepts such as data ownership, stewardship, quality dimensions, and metadata.
  • Familiarity with business analytics tools for building scorecards and KPI reports.
  • Experience with backlog or work-tracking tools (for example, Azure DevOps or Jira) and agile ways of working.
  • Exposure to prompt engineering and refinement.
  • Familiar with ETO/manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience leveraging generative AI to streamline workflows and improve outcomes.
