– Data Privacy Specialist

Job Title: Data Privacy Specialist
Experience: 7+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Data Privacy Specialist to develop and implement data privacy frameworks, ensure compliance with privacy regulations, conduct privacy risk assessments, and support enterprise-wide data protection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data privacy policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct privacy compliance assessments, risk assessments, and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Ensure compliance with applicable privacy regulations (GDPR, PDPL, CCPA, etc.).
• Maintain Personal Data Inventories and Data Flow Maps.
• Promote Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default principles.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, Security, Risk, and business teams on privacy initiatives.
• Deliver privacy awareness and training programs.

Must Have

• 7+ years of experience in Data Privacy, Data Protection, or Information Governance.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, PDPL, CCPA, or similar privacy regulations.
• Hands-on experience with DPIAs, Privacy Risk Assessments, Data Mapping, and Compliance Assessments
• Experience developing and implementing data privacy policies and governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Privacy by Design, Data Minimization, Purpose Limitation, and Data Subject Rights
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CDPSE, or ISO 27701
• Experience with OneTrust, BigID, Microsoft Purview, or similar privacy platforms.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework, and Data Governance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms ( Azure, AWS, GCP) and privacy controls.
