Aladdin Studio is BlackRock’s platform for building extensible, scalable solutions on top of Aladdin. It empowers internal teams—portfolio managers, researchers, developers, and analysts—to create analysis,automationsand applications to streamline investment workflows as well as research that accelerates alpha generation across the firm. 

As a member of theData PlatformOperations team,you will support both Aladdin Studio and enterprise data pipelines — interacting,engagingand solvingproblems for some of the most technically sophisticated users of Aladdin. Our team is also responsible for delivering the monitoring, logging,alertingand observability frameworksacross these platformsto ensurethey arescalable and resilient as we enter a period of significant growth.We are actively embedding AI and agentic workflows into the way weoperateand are looking for someone to play a hands-on role in shaping that journey.

• 2+years of hands-on experience working as part of Platform Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or related engineering teams.

• Develop deep domainexpertiseon the functionality and capabilities of the platform.

• Triaging andtimelyresolution of clientand platforminquiries.

• Enable user best practice execution on the platform including training and adoption of new platform features.

• Understanding and acting on platform telemetry alerts including invocation of our Incident Management response plays.

• Look for opportunities to automate our workflows, including AI and agentic approaches, to improve our team's effectiveness and efficiency.

• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI tooling into the team’s operational stack.

• Contribute todeveloping ourAI-poweredframeworks

• This role requiresthe candidate to work a staggered working weekincluding weekends

Desirable Skills

• Experience building,managingand supporting large-scale platforms.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).

• Experience with SRE tools such as PagerDuty, Grafana, and Splunk for observability and incident automation.

• Familiarity with AI-powered operations, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic frameworks

• Proficient inPython.

• Experiencewithbuilding end-to-end workflows to solveoperationalproblems.

• Strong attention to details and focus on high quality delivery. 

• Comfortable working with clients and partners at all levels of the business.
