Developmental Pathways (DP) is looking for a Data Platform Lead to shape and lead our enterprise data strategy. This is a high-impact role where you’ll influence how data is built, governed, and used across the organization, while mentoring a team and staying hands-on with modern data solutions.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and evolve our end-to-end data strategy across engineering, analytics, and reporting
- Design and implement a SQL Server-based enterprise data warehouse
- Build and optimize data pipelines, models, and BI solutions (T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI)
- Establish data governance, quality, and documentation standards
- Mentor and guide a team of data professionals
- Partner with business leaders to translate data into actionable insights
- Modernize and improve existing data infrastructure and reporting capabilities
What You Bring
Required Experience
- 5+ years as a Data Platform Lead (or similar leadership role)
- Advanced expertise in T-SQL and Power BI
- Strong experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL-based systems
- Proven ability to lead/mentor technical teams while remaining hands-on
- Ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Education
- Bachelor’s + 3 years experience, or
- Associate’s + 5–7 years experience, or
- 8+ years of relevant experience
Additional Requirements
- Must reside in Colorado
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (or approved alternative)
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Nice to Have
- Data Vault 2.0 experience
- Azure / modern data platform exposure
- Agile tools (Azure DevOps Boards)
- Microsoft or analytics certifications (Power BI, Azure, CAP)
