Zinkworks is seeking a Data Platform Engineer with expertise in both database technologies and Generative AI development The role requires strong experience managing large-scale data platforms while also developing GenAI agents using Python and modern AI development frameworks

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage data platforms and database systems supporting AI-driven applications.

• Develop GenAI agents and automation workflows using Python and AI development frameworks (ADK)

• Optimize and manage data storage, querying, and analytics pipelines

• Work with engineering teams to integrate AI-driven capabilities with enterprise data platforms

• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale data environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong database administration and engineering experience

• Expertise in SQL, GraphQL, and BigQuery

• Strong Python development experience

• Experience developing Generative AI solutions or AI agents

• Understanding of data architectures for AI/ML workloads

Desirable Skills

• Experience with GCP data ecosystem

• Experience building AI-driven automation or agents

Experience with distributed data platforms or large-scale analytics systems
