Why this role exists…


We’re growing our delivery team to support a major migration project for one of our largest, globally recognised FMCG clients, and this will be your first assignment upon joining Snap Analytics, providing the opportunity to make an instant impact.

This project will give you the chance to deepen your existing skillset in Matillion and Snowflake working in a strong, collaborative team. After this, you’ll continue working on a variety of client projects across industries, applying your skills to solve complex data challenges and helping organisations unlock the full potential of their data.

What you'll be doing...

You’ll play a central role in building and deploying ETL pipelines and supporting data migration activities. You’ll work closely with senior technical leads and delivery managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Configuring connectivity and extracting data from multiple sources (flat files, SQL Server, Salesforce, AWS S3).
• Designing and implementing transformation logic using Matillion.
• Loading data into Snowflake and validating outputs.
• Supporting documentation and following agile processes (daily stand-ups, JIRA task management).

In your first 3–6 months, success might look like:

• Completing assigned ETL tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrating strong Matillion transformation skills and SQL proficiency.
• Collaborating effectively with the team and contributing to project milestones.

What you'll need to succeed...

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of technical expertise and adaptability.

You might be a great fit if you have:

• Hands-on experience with Matillion, including transformation jobs and building views.
• Solid SQL skills and familiarity with data integration best practices.
• Exposure to Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouses like Redshift or Synapse).
• Experience with AWS S3 connectivity and data handling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of Salesforce data integration.
• Basic Python skills.
• Previous experience in FMCG data environments.
