In this role, you'll:
We are looking for a Data Performance Lead to join the Platform Data & Operations team within Operational Technology. This is an opportunity to help shape how operational data performance is measured, governed and improved across Transport’s operational technology platforms.
You will work with platform, product and information management teams to make sure data is reliable, timely, compliant and fit for purpose. Your work will support better reporting, analytics and decision-making across Transport.
About the role
As the Data Performance Lead, you will develop and apply frameworks, standards and measures that improve data performance across operational technology platforms.
You will analyse data quality and performance trends, identify issues and improvement opportunities, and coordinate actions to address their underlying causes. You will also provide expert advice and clear insights to senior stakeholders and governance forums. The role operates with a high level of autonomy and is accountable for the quality, integrity and validity of the work delivered

About you
You are an experienced data professional who can combine technical knowledge with strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
You can work across complex technology environments, translate technical information into clear business insights and bring people together to deliver sustainable improvements. You are comfortable balancing competing priorities while maintaining data quality, governance, privacy and security requirements. You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in a business, technology or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience) and have experience using data, spatial information systems or business technology solutions to drive continuous improvement and support customer-focused outcomes.
