Corporate Title Junior Officer to Senior Manager

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Our Enterprise Data Office team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Data Operations Officer

In this role you will ensure SLA performance of data platforms by providing L2 support, resolving incidents, and driving operational optimizations and deployment standards. Depending on level, you may oversee service-level governance, independently manage monitoring and automation initiatives, perform routine support and escalations, or assist with system validation and stakeholder communications.

What the role will entail

• Monitor SLA compliance to ensure all data platform services meet agreed performance and availability standards.
• Provide Level 2 operational support by analyzing incidents, performing triage and resolution, and escalating issues when needed.
• Lead problem and root cause management by investigating recurring issues, implementing long-term fixes, and documenting lessons learned.
• Drive platform optimization through automation, performance tuning, and configuration improvements aligned with enterprise data strategy.
• Review deployments and standards as a subject matter expert to ensure updates and packages comply with operational requirements.
• Manage stakeholder communication and reporting by engaging IT, data owners, and platform users, and presenting platform health, risks, and improvement initiatives to leadership.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other relevant technical courses.
• Preferred credentials include ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Azure/AWS Practitioner, Databricks Operations, or equivalent platform certifications.
• 68 years in IT operations, platform engineering, or support roles, with SLA ownership required at lead level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake); familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Azure Monitor, Prometheus); proficiency in incident, change, and problem management; exposure to automation tools (Terraform, Python, Azure DevOps); understanding of IT operations in regulated environments (e.g., BSP compliance); stakeholder engagement and reporting experience.
• Progressive proficiency in communication, collaboration, customer focus, critical thinking, responsibility, and results orientation; advanced strategic thinking, problem-solving, innovation, and ability to sustain high-performing teams and build a strong operational culture at senior/lead levels.
