Build your career as you dive into the depths of data and find new ways to unlock pathways to transformative solutions. Be part of an innovative team to sculpt dashboards that inform strategic priorities.
As a Data Operations Associate within Consumer and Community Banking – People Experience and Technology, you conduct intermediate-level analysis to uncover patterns that promote new questions and solutions through effective data collection, integrity management, utilization, requirements gathering, and analysis. You apply your technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope, and you leverage your advanced technical skills to support the design and development of metrics, reporting, and dashboards that enable management to execute strategic objectives while ensuring adherence to all relevant controls, policies, and procedures.
Job responsibilities

  • Perform large-scale data cleaning (deduplication, standardization, normalization) and validate data integrity across multiple sources.
  • Execute recurring data quality checks; identify anomalies, outliers, missing fields, and conflicting values.
  • Build and maintain data quality rules, checklists, and test scripts (e.g., SQL-based validations).
  • Support controlled data purging activities (e.g., identification of in-scope records, pre/post purge validations, reconciliation).
  • Assist with documenting purge logic, evidence capture, and reporting to demonstrate completeness and accuracy of actions taken.
  • Coordinate with data owners, technology partners, and governance/control teams to track approvals, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Maintain clear documentation: data dictionaries, lineage notes, quality findings, and operational runbooks.
  • Log, triage, and track data issues; support root-cause analysis and remediation plans with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to control routines (metrics, attestations, evidence packs) and help improve processes to reduce recurring issues.
  • Produce dashboards or recurring reporting on data quality trends, purge status, and key risk indicators (KRIs) or metrics.
  • Communicate findings concisely to both technical and non-technical partners; escalate risks and blockers appropriately.

Identify opportunities to automate manual checks.
