  • Coordinate with Web Developers on implementation, integration, testing, and debugging of web-based applications.
  • Respond quickly to reported problems, system alerts, and priority requests.
  • Provide technical recommendations to the Program Director and other HSR/ORD research leaders and managers.
  • Develop and maintain clear technical documentation.
  • Support ad hoc technical projects and special requests.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of SQL database administration and programming experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience developing complex database operations, queries, and scripts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database administration and related products.
  • Experience with database design and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting database backup, recovery, security, and data integrity.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Experience with Microsoft Access.
  • Working knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, ColdFusion/CFML, Java, XML, and OLAP.
  • Experience supporting web applications backed by Microsoft SQL Server.
