As a data migration associate –Implementation in our Workplace Solutions Implementation team, you will play a pivotal role in data migration activities and projects that support the Client Onboarding -Implementation team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end data migration activities for client onboarding, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance. Map and transform source fields to firm templates; maintain mapping rules, and transform logic.
  • Develop reusable tools for data migration processing, transformation, validation, and import.
  • Create template data validators, exception reporting, and unit tests for transformation logic to reduce manual effort and mitigate errors.
  • Handle PII and sensitive equity data using approved transfer channels, data processing handling procedures, and proper retention/disposal in line with firm policies and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain complete, audit‑ready logs for mappings, approvals, loads, and data migration reconciliation.
  • Evidence source‑to‑target with record counts, tranche and share totals, strike prices, data reconciliation, and event checks (vests/releases, exercises, cancellations, ESPP enrollments/purchases).
  • Investigate issues, perform root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and re‑run loads as needed to maintain project accuracy and momentum.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders to clarify requirements, sequencing, and timelines.
  • Maintain runbooks, mapping specifications, project documentation, and status updates; contribute to team playbooks, SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5+ years in data migration, HRIS/payroll integration, implementations, or ETL within financial services or SaaS; equity compensation experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with data mapping, transformation, and validation methodologies.
  • Python, SQL, and advanced Excel (or equivalent data migration technical expertise and tools) for automation, complex transformations/reconciliations, data validation and testing.
  • Clear and professional communication (verbal and written); ability to translate plan rules and business logic into technical specifications.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving; proactive and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment; collaborative team player.
