Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Data Management Specialist to support enterprise-wide data initiatives through effective data governance, quality control, and master data maintenance. This role ensures that critical data assets are accurate, consistent, and secure, enabling teams to make informed business decisions.

The ideal candidate has experience in managing structured data across systems, working with cross-functional teams, and supporting data-related projects in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the creation, maintenance, and validation of master and reference data across business systems.
• Monitor and enforce data standards, definitions, naming conventions, and classification frameworks.
• Perform data cleansing, enrichment, and deduplication to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support data governance policies and processes, collaborating with stakeholders to uphold data integrity.
• Assist in identifying and resolving data quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Work with IT, business analysts, and data stewards to support system integrations and data migration activities.
• Maintain metadata and documentation for key data elements, flows, and business rules.
• Support reporting and data validation efforts, providing quality-assured datasets for downstream analytics and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data management, data quality, or master data administration.
• Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience with ERP or CRM platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data profiling, cleansing, and validation tools.
• Proficient in Excel and other data manipulation tools; knowledge of SQL is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage data across multiple systems and processes.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
