We are looking for a visionary Data Lead to shape the future of how our business uses data. In this role, you will partner with leaders across the organization to define their data needs and bring them together into a unified group-wide data strategy. At the same time, you will build the foundations that make this strategy possible — creating data management and quality frameworks, and empowering data stewards across the business to ensure our data is trusted, well-governed, and impactful. This is a unique opportunity to influence both the strategic direction and the practical standards of data within our organization, ensuring data becomes one of our most valuable assets
NQF level 7 (Bachelor's eg: Bcom, BSc or equivalent 3 year degree) Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
High level expertise in, and detailed understanding of a number of different specialist areas within a function - Data strategies, frameworks, methodologies and governance
10 -12 years experience (5 years in a Senior role)
