About the role-
The purpose of this role is to lead the data workstream on the projects allocated by the domain lead to drive the appropriate data domain & data asset activities in the scope of the project and ensure sustainability in BAU. Underpinning this, needs to be a solid data foundation – both in terms of the develop, the sourcing and cleansing, the governance, the data ownership & quality, critical metric Governance, and the ongoing maintenance.
Role Responsibilities-
Own Commercial Data Value & Business Impact
Drive the effective utilisation of commercial data to deliver measurable business outcomes. Partner with business teams to translate key commercial problems into data-driven.
2. Lead Data Workstream Delivery
Define, track, manage, and report on all activities within the data workstream, including data design, sourcing, quality assessment, UAT. Ensure timely and high-quality delivery aligned to programme goals.
3. Drive Data Quality, Governance & KPI Ownership
Establish and implement data quality frameworks, governance models, and data management practices. Drive ownership of critical commercial important metrics, ensuring clear definitions, governance, and consistent usage across markets and teams.
4. Build & Execute Data Improvement Plans
Work with markets, business, process, and technology stakeholders to identify data gaps and deliver improvement roadmaps. Ensure data is fit-for-purpose, scalable, and supports advanced analytics and decision-making.
5. Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration & Data Enablement
Act as the bridge between business and technology teams to ensure high-quality, reliable data is available for solution building. Enable advanced analytics use cases and drive adoption of data-led ways of working.
Experience / skills required -
Strong capability to structure work packages, identify actions, deliverables and assign ownership.
• Track progresses and call out if necessary – hold others to account.
• Ability to engage stakeholders – explain, align, and gain support to complete programs of work
• Great understanding of the processes, tools, technology, and strategy of the respective functions
• Good understanding of the methods and techniques required to drive good quality data.
• Deep knowledge of data management principles and tools (SQL, Power BI, Excel)
