About the role

We’re looking for a hand on Data Lead to shape and delivery
MoveBank’s data capability and support priority initiatives across the
business. This role blends strong technical expertise with pragmatic
delivery – designing and implementing data solutions that power reporting,
analytics and fit for purpose AI, while working closely with internal
stakeholders and external partners. Reporting to the Digital and Innovation Manager, you’ll play
key role in enabling smart, data-driven decision making across the bank.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Own and evolve a practical, data and AI roadmap aligned to business priorities.
• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines, models and platforms.
• Deliver dashboards, reports, extracts and analytics that improve decision making and efficiency.
• Support safe and effective AI use, translating opportunities and limitations into plain language.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and delivery fit for purpose solutions.
• Manage data and AI initiatives end to end, including scoping, planning, vendor coordination and delivery.
• Ensure strong data governance, privacy, security and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement by reducing manual reporting and operational effort.
• Stay across emerging data and AI trends and assess their value for the Bank.

About you

• Brings strong experience across data platforms, analytics and AI-enabled solutions in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Enjoys combining hands on technical delivery with clear business impact.
• Can translate complex data and AI concepts into clear, compelling value for non-technical stakeholders.
• Has a strong understanding of privacy, security and regulatory requirements.
• Is comfortable designing and delivering scalable data pipelines, architectures and reporting solutions.
• Enjoys collaborating across teams and influencing outcomes without formal authority.
• Is curious, commercially minded and pragmatic about where data and AI can deliver genuine value.
• Take pride in delivering high-quality, well-governed outcomes that support better decision making and performance.
