Job Description

At ZeroNorth, we are at the forefront of transforming the shipping industry through digital innovation. Our solutions go beyond optimising business operations, they are designed to lead the industry in sustainability by significantly reducing CO2 emissions.

Our core mission of making global trade greener drives everything we do. Your contributions will play a crucial role in reducing emissions, aligning commercial success with sustainability, and delivering benefits for both profitability and the environment.

ZeroNorth is powered by a diverse team of 550+ professionals with more than 38 nationalities, operating out of global hubs including Copenhagen (our headquarters), Athens, Chennai, Mumbai, Singapore, Sofia, and Tokyo.

We are leading the industry's green transition, enabling our partners to leverage data for actionable decarbonisation efforts.

Data Integration Senior Analyst at ZeroNorth

This role sits at the intersection of customer onboarding, technical integration delivery, and cross-functional coordination. You are the primary point of contact for IMOS integrations and Voyage Management System integrations — owning delivery from implementation through to production stability across a portfolio of 20-30 customers.

You work daily with the Vessel Reporting Onboarding team, Tech teams, Customer Success, and customers directly. When an integration fails, you diagnose it, resolve it, and document what happened so the same problem doesn't repeat. When a new customer onboards, you own the technical thread end to end. When something is broken at a systemic level, you surface it with evidence and push for a fix.

This is not a ticket-handler role. It requires someone who understands how data moves through a maritime SaaS platform, can read an error log, and knows the difference between a mapping issue and an engineering defect.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end delivery on IMOS and Voyage integrations — onboarding, error monitoring, escalation, and production stability.
  • Act as the primary internal SME for integration queries from Support, Onboarding, and Customer Success.
  • Triage failed reports, identify root cause, and resolve or escalate to Engineering with full context and reproduction steps.
  • Scope, groom, and guide engineers on current and upcoming development work.
  • Document customer mappings, error-handling processes, and onboarding runbooks in Notion; keep them current.
  • Identify recurring issues across customers, document root cause, and escalate structured findings to Product and Engineering rather than solving the same problem case by case.
  • Write and maintain integration runbooks, process documentation, and troubleshooting guides so knowledge is never locked in one person's head.

Your profile:

  • 3+ years in a technical onboarding, integration, or customer-facing role in B2B SaaS. Maritime experience (fleet operations, ship management, IMOS, Veslink) is a strong advantage.
  • Able to read integration logs, understand how a data pipeline works, diagnose where it breaks, and explain the fix clearly to a non-technical customer.
  • Familiar with mapping concepts — voyage numbers, port codes, vessel identifiers — and comfortable picking up new data schemas quickly.
  • Organised under pressure: you can hold 10+ active customer threads simultaneously and know which one needs your attention first.
  • A pattern-spotter. The ideal candidate has a track record of noticing the same problem recurring across customers and doing something about it — a documented root cause, a process change, a structured escalation — rather than solving each case in isolation.
  • Comfortable working directly with engineers: you can read a ticket in Linear, understand what the engineer is building, and flag when an implementation choice is wrong for customers.
  • Fluent written and spoken English. A second language (particularly relevant to the maritime sector) is a plus.
  • Technical Skills - Experience with API, SQL, Snowflake, JSON is ideal
