Scaleup Connect is hiring a Data Insights & Strategy Specialist for one of its clients based in Lahore. This role will drive full-cycle data governance across the Sell-in to Sell-out (ST1-SO) ecosystem, transforming complex datasets into actionable business insights. The position combines advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and strategic thinking to support business growth, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between data and business strategy, enabling leadership, sales, and supply chain teams to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Data Governance
- Own and manage the ST1-SO data lifecycle, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Develop and maintain standardized analytical frameworks for monitoring business performance.
- Produce high-quality weekly and monthly operational reports that clearly explain underlying performance drivers.
Deep Diagnosis & Growth Opportunity Identification
- Conduct multi-dimensional data analysis across cities, product lines, and sales channels.
- Identify business anomalies, operational inefficiencies, and hidden growth opportunities
- Provide strategic recommendations based on robust analytical insights.
Algorithmic Modeling & Risk Warning Systems
- Design and optimize sales forecasting models to improve demand planning accuracy.
- Build intelligent replenishment logic and inventory alert mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency.
- Apply predictive analytics to reduce operational risks and improve inventory turnover
Business Empowerment & Decision Support
- Act as a translator between data and business teams, converting complex analytics into clear, actionable insights
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support strategic planning and execution.
- Develop dashboards and insights that guide operational decision-making.
Strategy Execution & Alignment
- Translate company strategy into quantifiable KPIs and performance tracking frameworks
- Monitor progress against strategic targets and provide insights that ensure cross-functional alignment with organizational goals
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or strategic analytics roles.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel (VBA / Power Query)
- Strong experience with BI visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with Python or R for predictive modeling is highly preferred.
Analytical & Business Skills
- Strong logical and analytical thinking, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Ability to quickly identify core business challenges and opportunities within fragmented data environments
- Strong understanding of business performance metrics and operational drivers
