Project Role : Data Governance Practitioner
Project Role Description : Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage; and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.

As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and maintain data standards, ensuring that data collection, storage, access, and usage processes are efficient and compliant. The practitioner actively drives data stewardship initiatives, fostering a culture of responsibility and accountability around data management across the organization. Through continuous engagement and coordination, the role supports the development of a robust data governance framework that aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to develop and implement data governance frameworks that support organizational objectives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between data owners, stewards, and users to ensure consistent data practices.
- Monitor compliance with data governance policies and recommend improvements to enhance data quality and security.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- Experience in designing and implementing data governance policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of data management principles including data quality, metadata management, and data security.
- Ability to analyze complex data environments and recommend governance solutions.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration to drive data governance initiatives.
- Familiarity with data stewardship concepts and best practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
