Greenfield is looking for a Data Governance Lead to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in one of the most transformative initiatives in the organization’s history—our enterprise-wide ERP transformation.

The Data Governance Lead is responsible for establishing and operationalizing the organization’s data governance framework while serving as a hands-on leader in data migration execution across a multi-system ERP transformation. This role is both strategic and tactical—you will define the standards, policies, and processes that govern our master data while rolling up your sleeves to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and readiness across every migration workstream.
The immediate priority is supporting the enterprise transition from Navision to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, alongside parallel migrations from Salesforce CRM to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing), Maximo (finance-related data) to Dynamics 365, and various plant system data migrations. Beyond the transformation, this role will build out data governance as a sustained discipline across the organization, ensuring long-term data quality, consistency, and decision-making capability.
This role will have one direct report and will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, Operations, and external implementation partners

Your Experience Should Include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or master data administration.
• Demonstrated experience leading data migration efforts within ERP transformation programs.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Customer Engagement (required).
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP data structures, hierarchies, and integration points.
• Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical and data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Purview or similar data cataloguing and governance tooling.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Navision (NAV) or Business Central as a source system.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM, Maximo, or plant/manufacturing system data.
• Exposure to data quality tools, ETL processes, or data integration platforms.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or process industry environments.
Job Responsibilities:
Data Governance Strategy & Framework
• Design and implement a comprehensive data governance framework aligned with business objectives and the ERP transformation roadmap.
• Define and enforce data standards, policies, ownership models, and stewardship processes to ensure compliance and consistency across all business systems.
• Establish robust processes for data collection, validation, cleansing, storage, and ongoing quality monitoring in collaboration with IT and Finance teams.
• Build out data governance as a sustained organizational discipline that extends beyond the transformation program.

Data Migration & ERP Transformation
• Serve as the data migration lead for the enterprise transition from Navision to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Lead data migration planning and execution for parallel workstreams including Salesforce CRM to Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing), Maximo (finance data) to Dynamics 365, and plant system data migrations.
• Develop and execute data mapping, transformation rules, validation scripts, and cutover plans for each migration workstream.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment activities to ensure migration-ready data quality.
• Coordinate with implementation partners and technical teams to ensure seamless data integration across systems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Finance, IT, Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams to identify, define, and prioritize master data needs and data ownership.
• Act as the central point of accountability for data readiness across all ERP and system migration workstreams.
• Collaborate with external implementation partners to align data migration approaches with project timelines and business requirements.
• Provide guidance and leadership to one direct report, supporting their development and day-to-day activities.

Data Quality & Continuous Improvement
• Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor data quality, completeness, and governance effectiveness.
• Drive improvements in data-driven decision-making and enhance the organization’s overall data management maturity.
• Identify and remediate data quality issues proactively, implementing root cause analysis and preventive controls.
Total Compensation & Care
• Base salary dependent on experience and demonstrated performance - $125,000 to $140,000
