Introduction:
At Huuuge Games we make top grossing mobile games that bring people together through fun and social mobile gaming. We generate a massive amount of data, but data is only a strategic asset if it is understood, trusted, and accessible. We work with the latest technologies, but now it is time to embrace the highest standards in foundational Data Management Practices that enable us to turn our raw data into business intelligence and trusted decisions. Become a part of an exciting adventure bringing fun & truly social experience to millions of players around the world from our offices in Poland.
How will you make an impact with us?
Authoring our data policies, guidelines, and standards across our game data and internal information assets.
Implementation of naming conventions, business descriptions, and lineage logic that explain how we build our metrics.
Identification of inconsistencies in our most vital metrics (e.g., Session Length, DAU). You will lead the charge in getting stakeholders to agree on a "Single Source of Truth" and immortalize it in the catalog.
Define and capture data quality rules for automated monitoring and build a Data Quality Scorecard to track our progress toward total data health.
Design a "right-fit" Data Governance Framework tailored specifically to Huuuge’s unique pace and scale.
Once established, you will shift focus from internal data curation to external influence. You will educate the business (Marketing, Economy, Product) to take ownership of their specific data domains.
Beyond game data, you’ll look at how we store knowledge across Confluence, Jira, and Slack, ensuring our "organizational memory" is as structured as our databases.
This is the right job for you if you have:
You have a passion and love for organization and consistency. You see an undocumented table and immediately want to map its lineage and define its purpose. You see typos, misspelled words or inconsistent naming/tagging conventions and need them fixed.
You have deep experience with data Cataloging and understand how to leverage tagging, classification, and lineage.
You are hands-on and will take ownership of ensuring catalogue completion, but have aspirations to build frameworks that change how a global gaming company operates.
You look out for educational opportunities to provide the appropriate perspective to inspire wide-spread appreciation for data management and governance.
You communicate about data through accessible analogies and story-telling.
Surprise us with:
Accreditations in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Architecture.
Hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog (highly preferred).
Experience in the gaming industry or a high-growth tech environment is a significant plus.
We thought you’d appreciate:
