What you will be doing

As a Data Entry Administrator/Operator, you will work as part of a large team to ensure the

efficient operation of the weekly lotteries. Responsibilities include running the processing

company's mail, entering data into a system, and maintaining correct and up-to-date customer

records, scanning information by an AI OCR scanner. The role involves data entry and verification

for new members, renewals, and payments, as well as managing debit/credit card transactions

and reconciliation.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Data Entry and Verification: You will carry out computer data entry for supporter information, including new members, lottery renewals, cancellations and similar updates. This includes verifying data for accuracy and producing required reports.
  • Sorting and Opening Mail: You will be responsible for sorting and opening inbound mail received by the Lottery Office, ensuring all items are handled securely and processed promptly.
  • Standing Order Mandates: You will manage the delivery and despatch of Standing Order Mandates to the relevant banks and building societies, ensuring all documents are sent correctly and on time.
  • AI Scanning and Data Checking: You will use our AI scanning system to scan supporter forms and check that all data is captured accurately and securely.
  • Outbound Mail Despatch: You will handle the despatch of outbound mail from the Company and Lottery Office, ensuring all communications and documents are prepared and sent in line with our procedures.

Salary: £25,000 per annum, 37.5 hours per week

This position is subject to satisfactory Right to Work in the UK and DBS checks.
