Data Administration Clerk

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced maritime logistics environment supporting vessel operations and shipping line coordination.

About the Role

The primary objective of this role is to provide clerical and administrative support to AAT’s Operations team, ensuring accurate and timely data input across shipping line manifests and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Manifest Management

• Input vessel manifest data into Excel and upload into the Cargo Management Data System.
• Produce and distribute reports to assigned stevedores.
• Maintain manual and electronic manifest filing systems.
• Monitor vessel movements via AAT Berthing Schedule and Port Authority Vessel Schedule.

Administration & Coordination

• Liaise with shipping lines to ensure timely receipt of manifest data.
• Respond to manifest data enquiries professionally and promptly.
• Provide vessel summary reports to the Port of Melbourne..
• Assist with ad hoc administrative duties as required.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere strictly to AAT’s WHS policies and procedures.
• Maintain safe work practices and required certifications.
• Comply with company policies and standard operating procedures.

About You

We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

✔ Previous experience in a Data entry role or similar
✔ Strong attention to detail
✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
✔ Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
✔ Experience working with databases
✔ Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
✔ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
