As a Micro Deal Underwriter, you’ll play a key role in helping the team eliminate bottlenecks and ensure funding applications are handled with speed and accuracy. What You'll Do:

• 
  Review 3 months of bank statements and funding applications for micro deals.
• 
  Use defined rules to determine which of up to 15 lenders each deal should be submitted to.
• 
  Click through a CRM checklist to submit deals to applicable lenders based on criteria (e.g., revenue, number of negative days).
• 
  Decline deals that do not meet minimum requirements.
• 
  Follow simple underwriting logic with minimal calculation or analysis required.

Who You'll Work With:

Join a streamlined and collaborative financial services team, working closely with experienced staff like Sophie and Jen who will support your training and onboarding. You’ll help streamline the early-stage deal flow process and contribute to the team's ability to fund faster and smarter.

Who We're Looking For:

• 
  Detail-Oriented:
  Able to spot key indicators like monthly income and negative balances.
• 
  Process-Driven:
  Comfortable following a checklist within a CRM and applying pre-defined underwriting criteria.
• 
  Financially Literate (Preferred):
  Someone capable of understanding financial statements is preferred but not required.
• 
  Experience:
  General work experience is required.
