Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, enhance, and support healthcare integration solutions using InterSystems technologies
  • Build and maintain healthcare interfaces involving HL7 v2.x, HL7 v3, CCD, C-CDA, and other healthcare interoperability standards
  • Analyze business and integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop and support messaging workflows, data transformations, routing, and integration services
  • Troubleshoot interface issues and provide timely resolution for production support incidents
  • Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to implement integration solutions
  • Participate in system design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities
  • Contribute to modernization initiatives involving cloud and streaming technologies
  • User Responsibilities:
    • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • BE/B.TECH/ME/M.TECH/BSC with 6+ years of experience in intersystem tech stack and healthcare data handling
  • Experience
    • 4+ years of overall experience in Healthcare IT and Integration
    • 4+ years of hands-on experience with:
      • InterSystems Cache ObjectScript
      • Cache Database
      • InterSystems Ensemble (or HealthShare/IRIS integration experience)
  • Healthcare Domain Expertise
    • Experience in developing, supporting, and troubleshooting healthcare interfaces
    • Solid knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards:
      • HL7 v2.x
      • HL7 v3
      • CCD (Continuity of Care Document)
      • C-CDA (Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture)
  • Technical Skills
    • Expertise in:
      • Cache ObjectScript
      • Cache Database
      • Ensemble Production Components
      • Interface development and message transformation


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following technologies:
    • Python
    • Java
    • Apache Kafka
    • Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with InterSystems IRIS or HealthShare
  • Exposure to cloud-native integration architectures
  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows, EMR/EHR systems, and patient data exchange
  • Understanding of API-based integrations, REST/SOAP services
  • Proven excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
