We are looking for a  Data Engineer/Architects – Databricks to join our company in one of our projects, in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable data platforms using Azure and Databricks.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines supporting analytics and AI workloads.
  • Migrate legacy on-premises Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions to modern cloud architectures.
  • Develop robust Lakehouse solutions based on Databricks and Delta Lake.
  • Collaborate with AI teams to enable Machine Learning and Generative AI workflows.
  • Implement data quality, governance and security best practices.
  • Support the implementation of Customer 360 capabilities across multiple business domains.
  • Contribute to AI Governance frameworks ensuring compliance, scalability and responsible AI adoption.
  • Enable Agentic AI use cases by delivering reliable and well-governed data foundations.
  • Partner with Product Development teams to create AI-driven forecasting and cost prediction solutions for new product launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Digital, Data, Finance and Commercial functions.
Required Skills
  • Strong experience with Azure Data Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks.
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or equivalent orchestration tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for Data Engineering.
  • Understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality principles.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
