Job Description

Role purpose

The Product Data & Analytics Manager will be responsible for leading the measurement, analysis, and reporting of Product performance to ensure high-quality insights and evidence-based decisions. This role is critical for driving continuous improvement in user experience, operational efficiency, and commercial outcomes:

• Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks to assess product's success against strategic goals, KPIs, and user needs.

• Collect, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights for product and service improvement.

• Provide evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality assurance across reporting processes and outputs.

• Design and deliver reporting tools and dashboards to enable real-time monitoring and informed decisions.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, user researchers, marketing, and operations teams to align performance analysis with business priorities.

• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities by analysing customer behaviour, service performance, and market data.

• Support product's commercial strategy by providing insights into user acquisition, retention, and engagement.

• Build capability and promote a data-driven culture across the product team.

• Actively participate in the data community to share best practices and develop the discipline within the organisation.

Main accountabilities

• Design, implement, and maintain performance measurement frameworks aligned with product business strategy and user needs.

• Define and track metrics across all stages of the learner journey, including acquisition, retention, satisfaction, and revenue performance.

• Conduct deep-dive analysis to understand trends, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to optimise performance.

• Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and visualisations to enable teams to access and act on data independently.

• Ensure all analysis and reporting processes meet data quality, security, and privacy standards.

• Work with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure that performance insights drive decision-making and prioritisation.

• Collaborate with user researchers to integrate qualitative and quantitative data for a complete understanding of user behaviour.

• Provide regular performance updates to senior stakeholders, including executive-level reports and presentations.

• Lead data reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, operational changes, and new product features.

• Build internal capability by mentoring colleagues and promoting a culture of data-driven continuous improvement.

Role specific knowledge and experience

Minimum / essential

• Experience in performance analysis or data analytics roles, preferably in digital products or services.

• Strong quantitative analysis skills, with proficiency in tools such as SQL, analytics platforms, and Excel.

• Experience developing and tracking metrics for digital service performance.

• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Strong data visualisation skills, with experience creating dashboards and reports.

• Understanding of data privacy and security principles.

• Experience analysing Google Analytics (GA4) data.

• Fluency in English.

• Current residency in the UK or Poland with unlimited right to work.

Desirable

• Experience with customer acquisition and retention analytics in a subscriptionbased business.

• Knowledge of education technology or online learning services.

• Familiarity with visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau and/or Power BI.

• Experience working in a global or multicultural context.

• Understanding of Agile ways of working and product development cycles.

Education

Degree, preferably in a relevant field such as data science, computer science, information systems, business, or a related discipline, e.g. a STEM subject or a finance-related subject.

Professional Qualification and Certification

Data or analytics-related certifications, such as in data management, data governance, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) are desirable but not required.
