cFocus Software seeks a Data Engineer to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance. Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field with 4-12+ years of data engineering experience
Proficient in SQL and programming languages (Python, Scala, Java)
Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses
Duties:
Implements data integration solutions connecting disparate data sources.
Optimizes data workflows for performance and reliability.
Ensures data quality, consistency, and security.
Works with data scientists and analysts to support analytical requirements.
Implement data governance and metadata management practices.
