Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled
Data Engineer
with hands-on experience in
Snowflake, dbt, and modern data integration tools such as Fivetran or Airbyte
. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable cloud data platforms, developing ELT pipelines, implementing data transformation frameworks, and delivering reliable, analytics-ready datasets.

The candidate should be experienced in integrating data from multiple enterprise applications, designing efficient data models, and collaborating with analytics, business intelligence, and data science teams to support reporting and advanced analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data pipelines using Snowflake and modern ELT tools.
• 
  Build and manage data ingestion pipelines using
  Fivetran, Airbyte
  , or similar integration platforms.
• 
  Develop modular, reusable, and well-documented data transformation models using
  dbt (Data Build Tool)
  .
• 
  Design and optimize dimensional data models (Star Schema and Snowflake Schema) for analytics and reporting.
• 
  Develop incremental data loading strategies and Change Data Capture (CDC) processes.
• 
  Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, query tuning, and warehouse optimization.
• 
  Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• 
  Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• 
  Integrate data from ERP, CRM, eCommerce, finance, and third-party SaaS applications.
• 
  Troubleshoot pipeline failures, resolve performance bottlenecks, and support production environments.
• 
  Implement CI/CD processes for dbt projects and data pipelines.
• 
  Create and maintain technical documentation, data lineage, and metadata.

Required Qualifications

• 
  5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Integration.
• 
  Strong hands-on experience with
  Snowflake
  .
• 
  Proficiency in
  dbt (Data Build Tool)
  .
• 
  Experience with modern ELT/integration platforms such as
  Fivetran
  or
  Airbyte
  .
• 
  Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• 
  Experience working with structured, semi-structured (JSON, XML), and unstructured data.
• 
  Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• 
  Experience building data pipelines using ELT/ETL methodologies.
• 
  Familiarity with Git-based source control and version management.
• 
  Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
