Job Description

Haddad Brands Europe, founded in 2017, specializes in the distribution of children’s apparel under exclusive licenses (Nike, Levi’s, Converse, Jordan, Lacoste…) across Europe.

Operational for 9 years, the company has experienced remarkable growth and now counts over 500 employees throughout Europe.

We distribute our products both through wholesale, working with major multi-brand and specialized retailers, and through retail, via our corners in leading department stores.

In concrete terms, this means that if you purchase children’s apparel (0–7 years for Nike, 0–16 years for Levi’s, Converse, and Jordan), whether in a physical store, online, in the Netherlands, the UK, Italy, or anywhere else in Europe, the product you’re holding has gone through us — even if you bought it in an official Nike or Levi’s store!

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer / Power Platform.

FOCUS & KEY PROJECTS:

  • Building a scalable data warehouse on Microsoft Fabric / Synapse, consolidating transactional data from Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and MS SQL systems

  • Automating ETL pipelines for nightly and near-real-time ingestion

  • Standing up the data layer and Power Platform solutions that feed BI and AI use-cases

  • Implementing data quality, lineage, and governance (Microsoft Purview) in partnership with the Data Quality Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes extracting from Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and MS SQL Server

  • Build and maintain API-based integrations (REST / web services) between source systems and the data platform

  • Model and optimise data-warehouse schemas (star / snowflake) for performance and scale

  • Take on core database ownership: performance tuning, backup/DR, security, and data models

  • Build Power Platform solutions (Power BI datasets, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) on top of the data layer

  • Implement and monitor data-quality checks, alerts, and remediation workflows

  • Automate deployments and version-control pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer in a corporate environment

  • Strong SQL and hands-on experience with MS SQL Server

  • Proficiency with ETL frameworks or orchestration tools

  • Experience integrating systems and data via REST / web APIs

  • Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Synapse for warehousing and pipelines

  • Programming experience in Python, shell scripting, or similar

  • Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and performance tuning

  • Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI at minimum)

  • English proficiency at C1 level or higher

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Azure Data Factory, Dataverse, or dbt

  • Database administration (backup/DR, security hardening) on SQL Server

  • Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and quality best practices

  • Experience with children's clothing / apparel or footwear retail data

  • French-language proficiency

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:

  • Start date: As soon as possible (ASAP)

  • Location: Position based in Saint-Denis, next to the Stade de France and a 5-minute walk from the RER B station.

BENEFITS:

  • Company health insurance (60% employer-funded)

  • 50% reimbursement of public transportation costs or access to private parking

  • Employee discounts on Nike.com and Levi.com

  • Employee sales

  • Works council (CSE) benefits (discounts and gift vouchers)
