THE ROLE:

The Data Engineer, Power BI is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise reporting solutions, data models, and analytics infrastructure that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with Operations, Finance, Revenue Cycle, Sales, Human Resources, and executive leadership to transform complex data into actionable insights through scalable reporting and business intelligence solutions. The Data Engineer combines expertise in Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and enterprise reporting to improve visibility, drive operational performance, and support continued organizational growth.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting solutions, data models, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI and related business intelligence tools
  • Build and optimize scalable data pipelines, reporting infrastructure, and data integration processes that support operational, financial, workforce, and sales analytics
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define reporting requirements, establish KPI governance, and deliver actionable business insights
  • Support data governance, reporting consistency, and data quality initiatives while developing a centralized source of truth for enterprise analytics
  • Automate manual reporting processes and expand self-service analytics capabilities to improve efficiency and accessibility of data
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers that support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence leadership on data architecture, reporting strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives

This position will require you to be onsite at our El Segundo, CA office 5 days/week

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, enterprise reporting, or a related field
  • Advanced experience developing Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions
  • Strong SQL, data modeling, ETL, data integration, and reporting infrastructure experience
  • Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and analytics frameworks
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple source systems
  • Healthcare, home care, disability services, or other regulated industry experience preferred
