Founded in 1946 in Bönnigheim/Germany, Hohenstein is one of the leading independent and accredited testing and research service providers with roots in the textile sector.
With a total of around 1200 employees in more than 40 representative offices worldwide, Hohenstein supports international clients all along the entire production chain.
Core competence is the textile testing and certification, with focus on harmful substances and textile technological testing. Long standing expertise consists also in fabric care, fit testing and pattern development. Product awards as the "Hohenstein Quality Label" or "UV Standard 801" support manufacturers and retailers in marketing their tested and qualified products. Due to the quality assurance and production monitoring, product legal compliance can be ensured by Hohenstein.
