📋 Tasks and responsibilities
You will join a multidisciplinary agile data team made up of data engineers, reporting specialists, functional analysts, project managers, data architects, data quality specialists and AI professionals. In this role, you will help transform healthcare data into actionable insights that support policy, appropriate care and control activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy and maintain BI and analytics solutions, including data ingestion flows, data warehouses and data marts, in line with functional and non-functional requirements such as performance and data volumes.
- Collaborate with technical and architectural stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable data solutions.
- Test developed solutions, troubleshoot issues, provide maintenance and produce clear technical documentation.
- Create reports and visualisations in Power BI and SSRS.
- Present prototypes and demos, and provide training to business users on the data model.
- Work closely with the Project Leader throughout the full project lifecycle in an agile and pragmatic delivery approach.
- Contribute to the transition towards Databricks and support the adoption of Azure Databricks within the organisation.
- Develop analytical solutions based on Kimball methodology using the Microsoft BI stack, including SSIS, SSAS, SSMS, SSRS, SQL Server and Visual Studio.
Technical Skills
- Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI stack: Visual Studio, SSIS, SSAS, SSMS, SSRS, Power BI and SQL Server from a development perspective.
- Good experience in data warehouse design and Kimball dimensional modelling.
- Experience with Azure Databricks and Python is an asset.
- Experience working in an agile project environment is a plus.
