The Data and Visualization team is looking for a Data Engineer with a strong analytical focus. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys technology and has a genuine interest in both data development and dashboard reporting/development. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between data engineering and business intelligence, ensuring that information is transformed into actionable strategic decisions.
What you’ll do
Design and implement robust data models and architectures, ensuring data quality, scalability, and performance.
Manage project progress, metadata collection, development, and management with moderate supervision.
Create compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, adhering to data visualization best practices and design principles.
Lead key efforts in data interpretation, trend identification, and analysis of large datasets to drive business decisions and growth.
Design and implement robust data models and architectures, ensuring data quality, scalability, and performance. This may involve working with data warehouses, data lakes (Cloud) , and various data sources.
Create compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, adhering to data visualization best practices and design principles.
Continuously explore new technologies and techniques to improve BI processes and deliver innovative solutions.
What experience you need
Education & Experience: Completed Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience as a Data/ML Engineer (or related role).
Data & ML Engineering: 2+ years of advanced SQL, cloud data lakes (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift), and building/optimizing ML data pipelines.
Visualization & Storytelling: 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools (Looker preferred, Tableau, Power BI) and delivering data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Cloud Platform: 6+ months of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Language: Minimum English proficiency B2.
What could set you apart
Knowledge and experience developing or implementing Machine Learning (ML) models using Python, BigQuery ML, Vertex AI, etc.
Cloud certification is strongly preferred.
Business Intelligence Certifications: Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Server Certified Associate, or Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
Strong hands-on experience with Python data manipulation libraries, specifically Pandas and NumPy.
1+ years of experience developing and implementing machine learning models using Python or SQL, with a solid foundation in data modeling techniques.
