Job Description


As a Data Engineer you will:

  • Work in an agile startup-oriented environment and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions, ensuring smooth transition from development to production.

  • Contribute to up-to-date documentation and proactive prevention of technical debt.

  • Participate in continuous delivery pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

  • Build and support data ingestion, storage, processing, and security solutions at scale.

  • Handle operations-related activities such as debugging, log analysis, and system monitoring.

  • Work with open-source technologies including Kafka, Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Impala), Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 8–10 years of professional experience in software development and data engineering.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Python and unit testing in Python.

  • Proven experience with data migration and large-scale data engineering practices.

  • Solid understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.

  • Demonstrable experience working with open-source technologies (Kafka, Hadoop ecosystem, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins).

You should possess the ability to:

  • Work autonomously while being open to learning and guidance when needed.

  • Debug complex issues, analyze logs, and support operations in production environments.

  • Ensure software solutions are robust, scalable, and secure.

  • Collaborate effectively within an agile team setup and deliver high-quality results.
