Job Description

Job Title: Data Engineer – FDE

Client: Virtusa

Location: Hartford, CT / Minneapolis, MN – Onsite

Experience: 8–10+ Years

Employment Type: Contract

Visa: H1B only

Engagement: C2C allowed

Rate: $60/hr

Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer (FDE) responsible for building scalable data products and data pipelines supporting Finance and Accounting use cases.

The role requires strong data engineering fundamentals, with hands-on experience developing and optimizing cloud-native data processing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build scalable data products and data pipelines.
  • Develop and support ELT/ETL processes.
  • Work with financial data processing requirements.
  • Build solutions using cloud-native data platforms.
  • Drive performance optimization and automation across data engineering workflows.

Required / Preferred Skills

  • Strong experience in Data Engineering and ELT/ETL development.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Spark.
  • Experience working with financial data processing.
  • Experience with cloud-native data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization and automation.
  • 8–10+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience.
