Job Title: Data Engineer (Developer)
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Experience Required: 8–10 Years

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern data engineering tools and cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on building scalable, high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• 
  Work with large datasets using modern data engineering frameworks and tools
• 
  Build and optimize data workflows using Databricks, dbt, and Apache Spark
• 
  Develop and maintain data solutions using Python and SQL Server
• 
  Implement and manage data integration processes using Azure Data Factory
• 
  Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to define data models and architecture
• 
  Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
• 
  Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization
• 
  Support CI/CD processes and deployment of data solutions

Essential Skills

• 
  Strong experience with Databricks, dbt, Apache Spark, and Python
• 
  Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
• 
  Solid knowledge of SQL Server and advanced SQL
• 
  Experience with Power BI for reporting and visualization
• 
  Strong understanding of data architecture and data modeling

Preferred Skills

• 
  Experience with SSIS and SSRS
• 
  Exposure to enterprise-scale data environments
• 
  Familiarity with Agile methodologies
