Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance ETL/ELT data pipelines to support Data Warehouse and analytics platforms.
- Build and optimize data integration processes, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Automate development and deployment workflows through CI/CD pipelines, managing releases across multiple environments.
- Design and implement robust data models and architectures, following Data Engineering and Business Intelligence best practices.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into efficient data solutions.
- Support and empower end users working with Dataiku and Tableau, promoting adoption and best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data processing workflows and platform performance.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to junior team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration tools (e.g., Alteryx, Talend).
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and optimization.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or PySpark.
- Experience designing and maintaining Data Warehouse solutions and data architectures.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and performance optimization principles.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Apache NiFi, Dataiku, and/or Tableau.
- Previous experience within the banking or financial services sector.
- Knowledge of Credit Risk, Risk Management, or Regulatory Reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and tools such as JIRA.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
