We’re looking for a Data Engineer with an interest in data quality and testing who wants to grow their skills in modern data platforms while making a real impact.
This role is perfect if you already have solid foundations in data and want to develop further in data engineering, testing, and cloud technologies.
What will you be doing?
Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in modern data environments
Writing SQL queries and supporting data modelling efforts
Working with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or similar platforms
Supporting implementation of data quality checks using SQL, dbt tests, and Python (PyTest / PySpark)
Helping embed automated testing into data pipelines and CI/CD processes
Collaborating with analysts, engineers, and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions
Testing & Quality:
Supporting different types of testing (functional, integration, data validation)
Creating and maintaining test cases and scenarios based on requirements
Contributing to test execution and reporting
Helping ensure data readiness and improving data quality processes
Identifying issues and suggesting improvements in data and testing workflows
What we’re looking for?
Hands-on experience with SQL (writing queries, working with data)
Understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, or similar)
Initial experience with dbt or willingness to learn it
Familiarity with Python (e.g. PyTest, PySpark - nice to have, not required)
Interest in data quality, testing, and automation
Understanding of ETL/ELT processes
Nice to have:
Experience with testing
Exposure to CI/CD or cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
Additionally:
Analytical mindset and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and grow in data engineering and testing
Team player with a proactive approach
