Job Description

Your area of work:

Clearstream Data Management & Storage team builds, maintains and operates applications related to Clearstream Data Warehouse area, mainly CDL (Clearstream Data Layer built on cloud technologies), with multiple use-cases focused on data products, investments funds, risk and credit, and compliance area.

Your Responsibilities

Your assignments will include:

  • Integrate new business use cases into the CDL application via ingestion and manipulation of data in python using Databricks and Azure technology stack,
  • Staying up-to-date with developments in the field of data engineering,
  • Assist the business analysts and the data scientists during the test phase
  • Cooperation with data governance team and development of tools on top of Atlan enterprise data catalogue.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional qualification or experience
  • Knowledge in the following areas:
    • Python and its data analytical libraries – At least 1 year of experience in productive mode
    • SQL – at least 1 year of experience in productive mode
    • Apache Spark – any experience will be an asset
    • Cloud technologies in general
    • Databricks will be an asset
    • Experience with agile methodologies
    • Github and git in general
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to write clear and structured code
  • Experience with Data catalogue tool (Collibra, Atlan) will be useful
  • Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and deliver in a fast moving and change oriented environment
  • Flexibility
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
