Job Description

— Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Engineer to join our data and analytics team. This professional will be responsible for designing, developing, orchestrating, and maintaining scalable data solutions in the Azure ecosystem, supporting commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Azure cloud technologies.

  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.

  • Develop scalable data transformation and processing solutions using SQL, Python, and Spark.

  • Manage and optimize relational databases in Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Create and maintain curated datasets for reporting, analytics, and self-service BI initiatives.

  • Support integration between data platforms and Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance across the data environment.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and global teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

  • Monitor production environments, troubleshoot issues, and support deployment activities across DEV/UAT/PROD environments.

  • Participate in architecture discussions, process improvements, and cloud modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.

  • Strong knowledge of: Azure Databricks Azure Data Factory Microsoft SQL Server SQL development and performance tuning Python and/or PySpark

  • Experience with cloud-based data architectures in Microsoft Azure.

  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and big data processing.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

  • Advanced English communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with global teams in meetings, documentation, and daily collaboration.
