Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using Azure services.

  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

  • Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.

  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all analytics platforms.

  • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to support business decision-making.

  • Optimize performance of data systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.

  • Contribute to the development and deployment of machine learning models and statistical analyses.

  • Participate in version-controlled development workflows and collaborative analytics projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 4-6 years of experience in data engineering

  • Hands-on experience with database and cloud platforms (Databricks, Spark, Microsoft SQL).

  • Experience developing and maintaining data governance and security frameworks across Databricks and enterprise data warehouse (EDW) ecosystems, including access controls, data lineage, auditability, and secure data-sharing practices.

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory for orchestrating data workflows.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server for data storage and querying.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake for big data storage and analytics.

  • Experience with Generative AI tools such as Azure OpenAI or Databricks Genie.

  • Experience with version-control systems (GitHub, etc.).

  • Demonstrated ability to use data to make strategic recommendations and inform decisions.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.

  • Proven experience working in collaborative teams, including co-development of models and results.

Technical Skills:

Azure Ecosystem: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL

Data Engineering: SQL, Python, ETL development, Data Warehousing

Preferred: Experience with Enterprise Applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Adaptive Planning
