Data Engineer (x2)
“Be part of a flagship programme transforming data capability”
About Us | Mō mātou
Identity Data & Analytics (IDnA) is one of the branch's main data analytics teams, bringing together data engineers, analysts and dashboard developers, and data scientists across the full data lifecycle, from sourcing and modelling through to BI, advanced analytics and insight delivery. We deliver data marts, BI products and statistical modelling that shape operational and policy decision-making
Important to note: The two Data Engineer roles are fixed-term supporting the establishment phase of a high-profile multi-year programme, funded through to November 2026. A funding decision in October 2026 will confirm continuation beyond that point. If approved, the programme is expected to run through subsequent phases to around mid-to-late 2028. While future phases are contingent on funding approval, we are committed to retaining talented people throughout the programme lifecycle wherever possible.
