Hello Visionary

We empower our people to stay resilient and relevant in a constantly changing world. We’re looking for people who are always searching for creative ways to grow and learn. People who want to make a real impact, now and in the future. Does that sound like you? Then it seems like you'd make a great addition to our vibrant international team.

We are looking for Data Engineer

You’ll break new ground by:

  • Design and implement robust, automated data integration pipelines using our core platforms, including SnapLogic and native cloud services like AWS Glue.
  • Develop solutions for event-driven data in motion, working with streaming technologies like Kafka to process and integrate data in real time.
  • Champion and implement a "shift left" approach by embedding data quality checks, testing, and monitoring practices directly into the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translating them into elegant and effective technical solutions for data integration.
  • Monitor, identify, and resolve data issues proactively, contributing to our overall data governance and quality framework.
  • Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and architectural patterns to continuously improve our data infrastructure and integration capabilities.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers, chipping in to the development of data engineering best practices and encouraging a culture of continuous learning across the organization.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

  • A bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • 10 years of overall experience with 6 years as a data engineer, with a strong focus on data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and building data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with specific expertise in cloud-native integration services like AWS Glue.
  • Proficiency with enterprise integration platforms, ideally SnapLogic.
  • Strong experience with event-streaming platforms such as Kafka, Confluent Cloud, or similar.
  • Proficiency in data engineering programming languages such as Python and expert-level SQL skills.
  • Familiarity with best practices, including data versioning, automated testing, and CI/CD for data pipelines.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a consistent record to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
