Data Engineer

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Develop, build, maintain, and support scalable data systems and pipelines that enable reliable analytics and reporting.
  • Collect data from different sources and automate its ingestion, cleaning, structuring, and enrichment for business use.
  • Analyze needs expressed by key business resources and document solutions that align with the Michelin Group's requirements in terms of security, reliability, and confidentiality.
  • Ensures data quality, performance, security, and compliance with data governance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with automation specialists, data analysts, business analysts, and data scientists to understand requirements, and deliver effective design solutions.
  • Deploy and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient, secure, and consistent data flow aligned with architectural standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve data issues and provide technical support to data teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop industrial SCADA systems connected with machine controls and varied data sources (Relational and Non relational data sources)
  • Contribute AI based developments specially in Vision technology.
  • Develop advance analytics related business solutions using ‘DataIKU” and relevant applications.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • BSc/BEng in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent qualification.
  • 2 - 3 years of Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Application Development, Data Analytics or related technical experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of Python, SQL and Advance Analytics applications is an added advantage.
  • Ability to set priorities, work independently, and consistently deliver results with minimal direction.
  • Proven success working across teams, with the ability to clearly communicate in diverse, multi-functional environments.
  • Skilled at analyzing data, identifying patterns, and ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
